I wanted to start with a very brief background of how "The Butler Family" came to be. Troy and I began our Journey together in the fall of 2008 when we became friends in our student ward. We actually first officially met when I was visiting teaching and Troy was home teaching. We didn't realize it at the time but we definitely got a lot more out of those visits then the people we visited! :) I knew him as the cute, shy Utah guy. He knew me as the cute girl in the student ward but he wasn't in a hurry to ask me out or anyone really. He didn't want to waste his time and money on just anyone. He was waiting for the right girl to come along. He soon realized he needed to ask me out after a couple weeks of no sleep because he kept getting the strong impression to call me. For those of you who know Troy he doesn't lose sleep over anything so this was a big deal. Finally he called, I gave an excited "yes" and he was able to sleep again. We started dating soon after that! :)

We were married July 31, 2009 in the Salt Lake City temple.
Over the last three years Troy and I both stayed very busy. Troy continued his education full-time at the University of Utah after finishing up at the Salt Lake Community College. He also worked full-time at Wasatch Electric. He worked very hard and graduated with his degree in Accounting in May of 2012.
After graduating with a degree in communication disorders at the University of Utah in 2009. I completed my training to become a certified speech-language technician and worked under the direction of a speech pathologist in multiple charter schools.
We both became very involved within our community and ward as well. Together we have been able to grow in many different ways and we are so grateful for our experiences to help bring us closer together as a couple.
We were not good at taking a lot of pictures over the last three years, but here are a few. :)

I have come to appreciate and enjoy golf and Troy has come to appreciate and enjoy Wyoming. :) Even when we were first married Troy said that if the opportunity came to move to Wyoming he would
do it as long as there were a few golf courses near by. I thought that was a
pretty good compromise. :) So when the opportunity came for us to move back to my home town in Wyoming and I knew there were a few golf courses near by...it was a done deal. ;) Okay...It wasn't really as easy as that. However, once we found out that there was an opportunity for us to buy an accounting business in Lovell everything seemed to work out to make it a smooth transition for us. After a lot of prayer we both felt so strongly that we needed to take this opportunity for our family. We moved forward to make it happen and this brings us to present day where we are now Wyomingites...Troy and I and most importantly our "NEW GUY" baby Brock!
Love the little history lesson your family.....
